And guess what, we're recruiting a 'few good men" including Mr. Tony to watch kids that night so more of our amazing women can come! I promise you this will be an event you won't want to miss!!!!!!!!!! More details coming soon :)

Overwhelmed with answered prayers!

I just have to share with you how completely overwhelmed I am with pure excitement for our women's ministry! I have been amazed with how God is answering prayers right now. I have been on my knees asking God to bring leaders into the women's ministry who love God and have a passion for exercising their unique spiritual gifts. Let me share what God has been doing in Women's Ministry the past 3 weeks!

I have met with 3 ladies and went through their SHAPE profile, and then found them a place to grow the gifts that God has blessed them with in Women's Minstry. Yesterday I spent 5 hours with two ladies who have a heart for communication and want to help us with our print and web communication. They are overflowing with ideas for newsletters, our blog, our website and much much more and have now been empowered with the ability to take these opportunities on! I have been meeting with one woman who has had a dream of bringing kids together in a fun safe environment while allowing their parents to fellowship and date each other! She's writing her ideas down and we are going to help make her dream a reality! I have met with two of our ladies have a heart for outreach into our community and want to share the blessings we women have to offer. They are actively researching opportunities for us to share God's love! At our first leadership women, 13 ladies gathered in my home and we came up with a new name for our Women's Ministry and collaboratively created a mission statement for us to focus on. We have booked our retreat for May and it's already starting to come together. This is just the start of what has been happening in this ministry!!!

You are not going to want to miss out on our Women's Kickoff on March 16th. Block that night out on your calendar - 7pm at the church! You are going to hear some of the most amazing events and programs that are being planned - and of course see the new design for Women's Ministry. Tt will also be a fun night for us to spend some time getting to know each other - yes we have some fun ice breakers planned!

With a $10 admission price, the Rock & Worship Road Show aims to be an event for fans of all ages, especially families. In addition to bringing a night of exciting performances, the tour is also dedicated to a bigger purpose: helping kids with juvenile diabetes via Imagine A Cure, a non profit organization to support research that will lead to a cure. and those with medical needs around the world through Compassion International.

Showering a Family with LOVE!

Melissa and Jim Vanderburg have taken to heart and home the true meaning of being a missionary. They have adopted THREE beautiful Ukraine girls who will be coming "HOME" very soon! Jim is with the girls now and we are waiting to find out when he'll be bringing them home. Will you help us shower them with love and prayers this evening at 7pm at LifeChurch. They will have many trials ahead of them, one of them being these darling girls come to their new home with only the clothes on their backs. So let do our part in this mission of helping them wlecoming their new girls home.

Breaking Free Bible Study - Starts Wed. Feb. 4th!

We will be starting our Breaking Free Bible Study this Wednesday at 9:15 at LifeChurch. Just wanted to remind everyone to pick up their Breaking Free books from Noahs Ark. We were able to find childcare.. Thanks Kathy!! I am excited that no moms have to miss any weeks. I just want to encourage everyone to pray for our group, to invite God in our lives and studies

Book Club Meeting Tonight!

Do you love to read? Do you enjoy reading books by Christian Authors? Do you like spending time discussing great books? Well if you answered yes to these questions, then come tonight to our Women's Book Club. We are meeting at the home of Brenda Ortuno at 7pm. Tonight we'll take some time to get to know each other, we have some new friends joining us tonight, and then we'll discuss our book for next month. The book from last month didn't come in, so you won't be missing anything! Tonight is a great night to start joining the book club. We meet the 1st Monday of the month at 7! We hope you will join us.
